How did you get started with urban exploration?

My first and second urbex exploration were with my first son, Bartolomeo, he loves military places, so i brig him in two military location, one of Cold War, and one of the Fascist Perios.

What was the first location you explored?

Airplane Factory Caproni, Predappio (the city were Benito Mussolini was born)

What attracts you to abandoned buildings and locations?

Mystery but olso tesaures of old times.

Do you have a favorite urbex location? If so, which one and why?

I go everyware, military, bunkers, villas, abandoned houses, factorys.

What's your most memorable experience during urban exploring?

In a military place, near the street, i find 60.000 $ of drugs, marijuana. I call immidiatly the police.

What equipment do you always take with you during your explorations?

One powerfull smartphone as camera for 4K videos, another one as normal phone and to see information about the place. Powerfool Nitecore Torch 4.000 lumen and tecnical apparel, very imnportant are the shoes.

Have you ever experienced dangerous situations while urban exploring?

I hurt myself 4 times, but i'm highlander (🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣) so i continue to explore

How do you prepare for an urbex adventure?

I prepare an email with all places of the day, google maps position and description, and my backpack with all inside.

What are the most important safety measures you take while urban exploring?

Good shoes, and "life is most important than urbex"

Have you ever asked for permission to explore a location? If so, how did that go?

In Italy only one time i recive the permission to explore a military place, everytime they say NO, becausa if i hurt mysalfe, is a big problem for them.

What are the biggest challenges you encounter during urban exploring?

I visited 2 hospitals in Milan, in the first i make 2 hours and half of video, in the second 3 hours,

How do you handle the ethical aspects of urbex, such as respecting property and privacy?

I go inside in an abandoned polace only if i find open. Respect is the first thing.

What are your tips for beginning urbexers?

Mnay exploretion i am alone, but is better to go in 2 or 3 persons, and "life is most important than urbex"

How do you document your discoveries? Do you use photography or video, for example?

Before entering i make a youtube short (reel), then a 4k video.

Have you ever found anything unexpected or unusual while urban exploring?

Drugs, a 1800 rosary, military zone signs
